I've published over 150 Nicstalgia editions (and counting!) on Substack and learned to write in a highly specific tone & voice from crafting 200+ internal newsletters for a contemporary fashion brand. My work seamlessly blends intellectual inquiry with lowbrow absurdity, piquing audience interest about nostalgic, niche, obscure, and sometimes unhinged aspects of popular culture. I've been told I would've been a great 90s teen magazine writer, but I was busy penning my first newsletter, Nicole's Daily News, on my grandparents' typewriter. I've contributed to two books:
