Nicole Tremaglio is a culture writer and performer. She created Nicstalgia, a video podcast-turned-newsletter with the rigor of a Pop Culture PhD and fun of a glossy 2000s teen magazine.

Nicole explores how culture, media, and technology impact identity and is known for her fastidious research and deep knowledge of fashion, dance, and pop music. She wrote about Italian American representation on RHONJ and Jersey Shore for Not Here to Make Friends Zine and the swimming pools of The O.C. for Are.na Annual.

Referred to by Bustle as a “born performer”, she currently teaches dance and fitness at Grind House and performs with the Methodz of Madzness dance company. Her multimedia projects have been featured in exhibitions presented by Rhizome and URSA Gallery. She holds as B.S. in Fashion Merchandising, with a focus on consumer behavior and cyclical trends.
